COMPETITION TIME FOR SWAG MEMBERS!

At the latest SWAG committee meeting we came up with an idea for a competition and I hope that some of you will take up the challenge. It started with a conversation about pedigree bulls and how a particular breeder got himself and his bull some free publicity. This was a few years ago but apparently this particular gent took his prized bull to Paris and took it to the foot of the Eiffel tower, he then tried to persuade the relevant authorities to allow him to take his bull to the top of the tower (no they didn’t let him,!) As you can imagine this caused quite a stir and a large amount of publicity!
So the challenge, fellow SWAG members, is as follows:
TAKE AN ALPACA TO A HIGH PROFILE, INTERESTING OR UNUSUAL PUBLIC PLACE AND GET A PHOTOGRAPH OF YOU AND THE CHOSEN INTREPID ALPACA TO PROVE THAT YOU WENT.
There is of course a fabulous prize to encourage some adventurous thinking!
THE WINNING PHOTOGRAPH WILL APPEAR ON THE FRONT COVER OF THE SHOW CATALOGUE AT NEXT YEAR’S SWAG HALTER SHOW AT THE ROYAL BATH & WEST SHOW
THERE IS ALSO A CASH PRIZE OF £100!
The entries will be kindly and impartially judged by Richard and Anne Beale and the winner will be announced at this years SWAG AGM. The competition opens on receipt of this newsletter and no entries will be accepted after the 21st of November.
The entries should be e-mailed to Richard Beale at Richard@bealeconsultants.com (PLEASE NOTE THIS IS THE CORRECT E-MAIL ADDRESS – THE ONE ON THE NEWSLETTER WAS INCORRECT.
